Qatar Railways Procurement Department wishes to announce the launch of the following enhancements to the Procurement website:
1. Supplier Registration – registration only for corporate suppliers -
effective from 16th December 2018.
2. i-Sourcing – access only for registered corporate suppliers to participate in minor corporate procurement activities (RFQs/RFPs) -
effective from 31st December 2018.
3. Open Tender Advertisement – announcement and purchasing of any open tender documents -
effective from 31st December 2018.
Payment of Tender Document Fees:
Where there is a fee charged for obtaining copies of tender documents, it shall be paid directly into the Qatar Railways Company bank account prior to document collection, and proof of payment must be presented at the time when the tender document is collected. Tender Document Fee amounts are specified in the tender advertisement and on this website.

Collection of Tender Documents:
The tender document will be provided, to the tenderer, upon presentation of the following documents:
• A formal letter of authorization on the tenderer's Company letterhead, duly signed and stamped with the tenderer's Company seal, authorizing a named person with ID reference to collect the tender document on their behalf.
• A copy of the tenderer's Commercial Registration.
• Proof of payment for the tender fee to Qatar Rail Company.

Submission of Tender:
Tenders shall be submitted as instructed in the tender documents not later than 12:00 noon, on the tender closing date. Any submission received thereafter will not be considered, unless otherwise specified in the tender document.
The Tenderer should submit the tender response, by hand in a sealed envelope and in accordance with the instructions specified within the tender document, to the following address:

Tender Clarifications:
