1. We encountered an unexpected error in i-Supplier portal during registration. What we can do?
If you encounter an unexpected error in i-Supplier portal during registration you can perform the following steps:
Clear the internet cache and close your browser.
Check your email box for notification from Qatar Rail. If you have received a link to your draft submission, you need to use it to complete your registration. Otherwise start your registration from the beginning.
2. We have started a new vendor registration through i-Supplier portal but we got the message: “The vendor name already exists.”
The possible reasons to get this message include:
you are registered in Qatar Rail suppliers’ database.
you have already submitted an online vendor registration as draft, completed or rejected submission. Check the status of your registration or contact Qatar Rail support service.
3. Could you assist us in order to upload some of the documents we missed to attach during the registration process?
You are required to attach all relevant documents to your online vendor registration as detailed in the Vendor Registration Form. Failure to comply with this requirement may lead to rejection of your application.
For registration details you can review the information provided in Qatar Rail Procurement website, Supplier Registration page and download the New Vendor Registration Manual.
Please review carefully the vendor registration mandatory documents.
4. We have submitted an online vendor registration. Can we receive login details for i-Sourcing?
Once the registration process is successfully completed Qatar Rail will send you a confirmation email along with the login details to access the i-Sourcing platform.
5. The i-Supplier portal does not define our products and services clearly. What we can do so we do not miss an opportunity?
You have to select your products and services from the categories and subcategories provided in the i-Supplier platform. You may also wish to provide more information in the Vendor Registration Form and through additional documents.
However note that the products and services related exclusively to corporate procurement activities shall be considered for being registered in Qatar Rail suppliers’ database.
6. What is the current status of our online vendor registration?
You can monitor the status of your submission by clicking on the Prospective Supplier Registration Status Page link sent to you by email. Once the registration process is completed you will be notified by email about the result.
7. What is the reason for the rejection of our online vendor registration?
Qatar Rail reserves the right to reject any vendor registration for any reason including cases where vendors did not submit all relevant documents as detailed in the Vendor Registration Form.
Qatar Rail will not communicate the reasons for rejection of prospective suppliers’ registrations. However you can check for comments provided to you with the rejection notification.
8. We are registered supplier but we have not received login details for i-Sourcing. What we can do?
You can contact us on our dedicated email address isourcing-support@qr.com.qa or call us on our phone number 44331164. Once we identify you as registered supplier, we will send you a user name, temporary password and link to the i-Sourcing platform.
9. We forgot our username and password for the i-Sourcing portal. Can we request new login details?
To reset your i-Sourcing password click on Login assistance accessible through the i-Sourcing login page and provide your user name-this is the email address you use to receive notifications during the RFQ process. You will receive a new temporary password which can be changed later.
10. Is it possible to change our company email?
You can manage your company emails and other company details by logging into the i-Sourcing application and choosing Supplier Profile & User Manager. More information is available in the Existing Vendor Guidelines published on Qatar Rail website under Procurement page. Select Supplier Registration and navigate to Existing Vendor.
11. We have been registered in Qatar Rail suppliers’ database but we have not received invitation. What is the reason?
If Qatar Rail has any requirement that matches your profile, you may receive an invitation. Qatar Rail will publish the requirement to a restricted number of selected suppliers who will be notified by email and will be able to review the details in their i-Sourcing account.
Please note that being registered as vendor with Qatar Rail shall not necessarily result in your company being eligible to be invited to any procurement activities or obtain any contract.
12. How can I submit a quote?
You can use the i-Sourcing Manual for Suppliers to obtain the necessary understanding of the i-Sourcing application and to effectively create your quote. The manual is published in the Procurement page of Qatar Rail website. Select Supplier Registration and navigate to i-Sourcing to access the link for downloading the manual.
13. We cannot provide all the items/services in the RFQ. Can we quote on selected lines?
You have to quote each item/service listed in the RFQ. However if you have comments and concerns regarding this subject you can communicate them through i-Sourcing online message(s).
