Qatar Rail participated in the “Little Employee” initiative'

In line with its CSR efforts, Qatar Rail collaborated with the Qatar Career Development Centre (QCDC) to take part in the “Little Employee" initiative. This program involves children aged 7 to 15 years in a hands-on experience to learn about working life by assisting their parents or relatives at their workplace. The initiative not only provides participants with an immersive experience of professional life but also creates a memorable and unique experience during their student years. It aims to teach children the value of work and introduce them to basic concepts in the professional world through their interactions with parents or relatives. This experience helps children gain an initial understanding of potential career paths, enabling them to make informed educational decisions early on to pursue their aspirations. As part of this initiative, Qatar Rail employees accompanied their children on a visit to Qatar Rail's headquarters. They also had the opportunity to explore the Doha Metro and Msheireb station, gaining firsthand knowledge about railway services and operations.
